Whitney M. Antoine Named to CityBusiness' Leadership in Law Class of 2023
Barrasso Usdin attorney Whitney M. Antoine has been selected for the New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law Class of 2023. The CityBusiness’ Leadership in Law designation is awarded to only fifty legal professionals each year. The Leaders are nominated by their peers and then selected based on their professional and community involvement. The Leadership in Law Class of 2023 will be honored at a reception on Monday, October 9th at The New Orleans Museum of Art and in a special insert in the October 20th issue of New Orleans CityBusiness.
Whitney M. Antoine practices in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance coverage and bad faith.
Before joining the firm, Whitney served as law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Whitney also served as an extern for Magistrate Judge Erin Wilder-Doomes in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana.
Whitney received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Southern University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University. While in law school, Whitney served as senior editor for the Journal of Race, Gender, & Poverty and chairman of the Moot Court Board. She was also a teaching assistant to Chancellor John Pierre and a research assistant for Professor Nadia Nedzel, focusing primarily on Louisiana obligations.
