Chad Thornton focuses his practice on commercial litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith, and employment litigation. 

Chad received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi. While in law school, he was a Senior Associate of the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, served as an academic tutor for Constitutional Law and Legal Research and Writing, and was a member of the Board of Advocates. Chad also participated in the National Criminal Advocacy Trial Competition, received first place in the 2021 Ira S. Flory Mock Trial Competition, and was selected to argue as amicus before the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals.
